Carl van Wijk from Auckland and Stuart Plester from Wellington have been friends since their teenage years. Carl, an award-winning Creative Director in advertising, and Stuart, an information manager for the navy, share a deep passion for conservation—especially New Zealand’s unique birdlife.

 

Together, they’ve combined their talents to create Feathered Friends of Aotearoa, a team dedicated to celebrating and protecting the country’s remarkable avian species.
